AIMS Unmanned Air Vehicle software has been tested during a series of test-flights and has met the operational requirement. Accordingly, it is now at the "alpha" stage of development. The developed version provides the ground station operator with the one channel of video and a moving map, but that limitation is due solely to the capabilities of the UAV being flown. In fact, AIMS-UAV could integrate the data from a multitude of airborne sensors and provide that integrated picture and up to three video channels for viewing on the ground or elsewhere.
