Mr. Rick MacDonald MSc Dear Mr. McDonald: This is a short note to thank you and your CarteNav Solutions team that were involved in providing software support to the AIMS-ISR® application recently installed in the AP-3C Orion. AIMS has delivered a great improvement to the capability of the AP-3C in both the Maritime and intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance roles. AIMS has increased our aircraft crew’s situational awareness, gaining a marked increase in their operational effectiveness and efficiency. On its arrival at the Task Group, the AIMS fitment faced a significant number of challenges due to the demanding operational environment and the magnitude of contacts that must be processed and managed by the application. Through the superb level of support provided by your team at CarteNav, these challenges were met and overcome. The quality and timeliness of your responses to our requests for operational support exceeded my high expectations. CarteNav have set a benchmark that I can not see being exceeded by any contractor supporting this Task Group or the wider AP-3C project community. The result of your efforts has delivered the AP-3C with a powerful and stable application that is making a significant contribution to our operations.
